AI exterior renders, sun angle included
Exterior work lives or dies on light and context. Upload a massing view or an elevation, state the hour and the setting, and get a render with a sky, a ground plane and entourage that belong together.
5 free renders a month. No card required.

Three steps
How to generate an AI exterior render
Step 1
Upload a massing view or elevation
A white clay model, a shaded SketchUp view or an elevation all work. Leave shadows switched on in the viewport capture, because the sun direction in the source image guides the render.
Step 2
Set material, hour and setting
Name the cladding, the glazing and the roof, then give the time of day, the weather and the surroundings. Low winter sun on a rural site produces a very different image from noon in a terrace street.
Step 3
Generate variants and export
Render the same view across several claddings or several hours, pick the frame that reads best, upscale it and export with a commercial licence on any paid plan.
Good for
- Planning submissions that need illustrative imagery
- Facade and cladding option studies
- Off-plan marketing shots for a listing
- Refurbishment studies built from a site photo
One thing to get right
Exterior renders are the most sensitive to the sun. If the output looks flat, the brief almost certainly did not say what time it is. Add an hour and a season and re-run the same prompt.
