Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and ARAI for use of the ARAI website and application. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a practice or a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind that organisation.

The service

ARAI generates images from drawings and text you supply. Output is produced by a generative model, which means it is an interpretation rather than a physically accurate simulation. It is not a substitute for professional judgment, for construction documentation, or for a photometric or structural calculation. You remain responsible for anything you present to a client or an authority.

Accounts

You must give accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are for people, not for sharing, and plans that include several seats state how many. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.

Plans, billing and renewal

The free plan costs nothing and includes a monthly render allowance. Paid plans are Pro at 29 US dollars a month, Studio at 79 US dollars a month, Team at 199 US dollars a month. All prices are in US dollars and are charged monthly in advance through our payment processor. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. If a payment fails we will retry and email you before any interruption. See the pricing page for what each plan includes.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from inside your account, with no cancellation fee and no requirement to contact support. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Payments already made are not refunded on a pro rata basis, except where the law requires it or where the service was materially unavailable and you tell us within 30 days.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us only the licence we need to operate the service for you: to store your files, to process them in order to produce renders, and to display them back to you and to team members you invite. That licence ends when you delete the content or close the account.

You confirm that you have the right to upload what you upload, and that doing so does not infringe anyone else’s copyright or other rights.

Renders and commercial use

On any paid plan you may use the images the service generates for you commercially, including in client presentations, planning submissions, marketing material, listings and competition entries. Free plan output carries a watermark and is licensed for personal and evaluation use only. We do not claim ownership of your renders.

Generative models can produce similar output for different users given similar input, so we cannot promise that a given image is unique.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service to break the law or to infringe anyone’s rights.
• Do not upload other people’s drawings or photographs without permission, and do not generate imagery of real people without their consent.
• Do not use the output to misrepresent a building that does not exist as a photograph of one that does.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer the service, resell access to it, or run automated scraping against it.
• Do not upload malware, or content that is illegal, hateful or sexual.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where the breach is minor and fixable we will ask first.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available and we will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. The service is provided as is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue something you depend on, we will give account holders reasonable notice by email.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in any 12 month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for decisions made on the basis of a generated image. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or if required by law. On closure you lose access to stored files, so download anything you need first.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights we will email account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect, and you may cancel before then if you do not accept it.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which ARAI is established, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions go to support@architecturalrenderingai.com. How we handle your data is set out in our privacy policy.
