Privacy policy

This policy explains what ARAI collects when you use ARAI, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.

Who we are

ARAI operates this website and the ARAI rendering application. For the purposes of data protection law we are the controller of the personal data described below. You can reach us at privacy@architecturalrenderingai.com.

What we collect

• Account data. Your email address, and a password hash if you sign up with a password rather than a third party login. If you subscribe, our payment processor collects your billing details. We never see or store your full card number.
• Uploads and renders. The images you upload, the text prompts you write and the images the service generates for you.
• Usage data. Basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and errors encountered, used to keep the service working and to detect abuse.
• Support correspondence. Anything you send us by email, kept so we can follow up on the conversation.

Your drawings and your renders

Uploads and outputs are private to your account. They are visible to team members you invite on a plan with multiple seats, and to nobody else. We do not publish them, we do not add them to a public gallery, and we do not sell them.

We do not use paid customer uploads or outputs to train any model. Private mode is the default on every paid plan. Unbuilt schemes are commercially sensitive and the default has to reflect that.

A small number of staff can access stored files where it is strictly necessary to investigate a fault or a report of abuse. That access is logged.

Why we process your data

• To provide the service you asked for, which is the performance of our contract.
• To take payment and keep the accounting records the law requires.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse, which is our legitimate interest in running a functioning product.
• To send service messages such as receipts, security notices and material changes to these terms.
• To send product email, where you have opted in. Every marketing message carries a one click unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the product: cloud hosting and storage, a payment processor, an email delivery provider, an error monitoring service and a privacy conscious analytics provider. Each acts on our instructions under a data processing agreement. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

We may disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our users or the public in an emergency.

Cookies and analytics

The marketing site uses only the cookies required to remember your preferences. The application uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. We use aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful. We do not run advertising trackers or cross site profiling on this site.

How long we keep it

• Uploads and renders: until you delete them, or until your account is deleted.
• Account data: for as long as the account is open, then for up to 30 days after deletion so an accidental deletion can be reversed.
• Billing records: for the period tax law requires, typically seven years.
• Technical logs: up to 90 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to object to or restrict processing, and to receive a copy in a portable format. You can exercise most of these from inside your account, and you can always email privacy@architecturalrenderingai.com. We answer within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our answer you may complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on the transfer mechanisms available under applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses.

Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to staff who need it, and administrative access is logged. No system is perfectly secure, so if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the relevant regulator within the timescales the law sets.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will email account holders and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
